How to read your SEO score (0-100)
The score is a fast audit focused on on-page SEO and indexing (not PageSpeed). Below: what each band means and what to fix first.
What the bands mean
Quick priorities (high impact)
- Title + meta description that are clear, specific and free of empty promises.
- A single H1 plus an H2/H3 structure that scans well on mobile.
- Canonical + robots set correctly, so indexing holds no surprises.
- Content: a clear intro, H2 sections, examples and lists.
- Images: relevant, with descriptive ALT text (not IMG_123).
What the full SEO report covers
The audit runs over 50 on-page and indexing criteria against your page. You get a complete report showing what works, what is broken and what to fix, in order of impact on your Google rankings.
On-page (content and structure)
- One H1 only, then 3-6 H2s that cover the topic fully.
- The first 100 words say exactly what this is and who it is for.
- Lists for the dense sections, so they scan on mobile.
- Relevant images with descriptive ALT text (at least 80% of them).
Indexing and metadata
- A 35-65 character title, with the main keyword as early as possible.
- Meta description: summary plus benefit plus what you get (score, checklist, priorities).
- A correct canonical, especially when URL parameters or variants exist.
- No stray noindex on pages that need to rank.
Local SEO audit
If your page targets a city - "dentist in Austin", "auto repair Denver", "law firm Chicago" - the "Local page" mode adds on-page checks for a map or directions link, LocalBusiness schema, phone and address, and city signals.
The local signals that move the needle
- The city in the title, H1 and intro (naturally, not stuffed).
- Click-to-call phone, a visible address and opening hours.
- A "Directions" link (Maps) or an embedded map.
- LocalBusiness schema with address/geo/sameAs/areaServed.
- Dedicated location pages when you serve several cities.

Frequently asked questions
The audit checks on-page elements and the signals detectable in your HTML: title, meta description, H1/H2, canonical, robots, images, structured data and local indicators (in "Local page" mode).
No. The score covers on-page SEO and indexing. For Core Web Vitals and speed we recommend PageSpeed Insights - the two analyses complement each other.
Yes. Pick "Local page" before entering the URL. It adds checks for on-page local signals: LocalBusiness schema, the city in headings, a visible phone number and address, a map or directions link, and so on.
You get the full report as a PDF, formatted to keep or to send to your developer. If you would rather not, you can still read the results on the page without leaving anything. Your address goes on no list unless you tick one of the subscription options yourself. Without a tick, you get the report and nothing else.
In rare cases, meaning pages that block crawlers or servers that do not answer, the audit can fail. Send me the link and I will check it by hand.
You see the preview report on the page straight away: score, top issues and affected categories. For the full report - every check, step-by-step fixes and a downloadable PDF - enter your email. We send it instantly and you keep access through the link.
Most audits finish in two or three seconds. For pages that build their content in the browser we open the page in a real browser, the way Google does, and then it can take up to ten seconds. The result appears on the page, with no reload.
Yes. The only point where you leave any data is if you want the full report by email. Implementation and consulting are paid services, separate from the tool.
The fastest route is to enter your own URL: the audit takes a few seconds and shows you exactly what the report looks like on a real page, not on a sample.
