KULtura is an interactive tourism platform dedicated to the cultural and natural heritage of Galați and Cahul. Visitors can explore attractions on the map, filter places of interest, and discover the project’s activities, useful information, and local stories from both sides of the Prut River. Each attraction has its own page, featuring practical details for planning a visit and an enquiry form. The platform is available in Romanian and English.
Client need
The project required a platform that could bring together and clearly present tourist attractions and cultural activities from Galați County and the Cahul region. The main requirements were:
- An interactive map showing the locations of tourist attractions
- Search and filtering by area and category
- A dedicated page for each tourist attraction
- Descriptions, opening hours, admission fees, and photo galleries
- Contact details and an enquiry form
- A separate structure for presenting the project’s activities
- Easy content management through WordPress
A modern website, easy to navigate and optimized for conversion from the very first visit.
We built a custom-designed WordPress tourism platform from the ground up around the KULtura project’s visual identity. The visual direction combines burnt clay, forest green, and natural tones inspired by the region’s landscapes, traditions, and heritage.
We developed an interactive map featuring tourist attractions from Galați and Cahul. Users can search for a specific place and filter attractions by area and category, while the results displayed in the list update according to their selections.
Each attraction has its own page featuring a description, location, opening hours, admission fees, a photo gallery, contact details, and an enquiry form. Where the necessary information is available, we also included reviews, virtual tours, events, and recommendations for other attractions.
We also created a separate structure for the project’s activities, organised by category and sub-activity. The platform is available in Romanian and English, is fully responsive across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices, and allows content to be managed through WordPress.

Product decisions, not just design

Design & Visual direction
Elegance & structure
The design was created from the ground up to reflect the project’s cultural and cross-border character. The colour palette combines burnt clay, forest green, and warm, natural tones, complemented by large images of local attractions and communities.
The visual elements connect heritage, nature, and tourism without overwhelming the pages or distracting from the essential information.

Navigation & structure
User-centered architecture
We divided the content into clearly defined sections for tourist attractions, project information, partners, and activities. The activities page includes a table of contents and a hierarchical structure, allowing users to quickly find the project’s many actions and resources.
On each attraction page, the information is organised into tabs covering the description, opening hours, admission fees, virtual tours, events, and gallery. This allows users to find exactly what they need without having to scroll through lengthy pages.
